Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026. This policy covers everybodycamps.com and nothing else.

The short version

We do not ask you for personal information and we do not run accounts, comments or newsletters. The site is static pages. Two things on it can see something about your visit: Google Analytics, and the affiliate links that take you to retailers.

Google Analytics cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read.Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning with _ga) in your browser to tell one visit from another. We configure it with IP anonymisation, with Google Signals off and with ad-personalisation signals off, so we see aggregate page counts and rough geography, not who you are. Google processes this data under its own terms; seeHow Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block it with theGoogle Analytics opt-out add-onor any content blocker, and the site works the same without it.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links, marked in the page code as sponsored. If you click one, the retailer (Amazon, or a brand's own store) may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. We receive a commission report that does not identify you. What the retailer collects is governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours.See the affiliate disclosure.

Server logs and hosting

The host that serves these pages keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, user agent, page requested, time) for security and capacity, usually for a short period. We do not use them to track individuals.

Fonts

Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which see your IP address in the ordinary way any web request does. No cookies are set by that request.

What we do not do

• No accounts, logins, comments or newsletter sign-ups.
• No advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
• No selling or sharing of data, because we do not collect any that could be sold.

Children

We write about kids' gear for the adults who buy it. The site is not directed at children and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone under 13.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction with data-access rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar) you can ask what we hold about you. The honest answer will almost always be "nothing", but ask athello@everybodycamps.com and we will confirm.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
